2011 NMEDA Conference

For informed consumers, keeping up with the latest trends in the mobility industry can be an interesting endeavor.  Its one of the main reasons AbilityTrend.com was created.  One of the ways mobility equipment dealers, driver rehabilitation specialists, and mobility manufacturers keep up with the latest trends in the industry is by attending the NMEDA conference.  Once a year, the National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association (NMEDA) gathers its members for their annual conference, and the 2011 NMEDA Conference will be held February 2-4 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

What happens at a NMEDA conference?  There a meetings where mobility dealers talk with manufacturers and each other about what’s happening in the industry.  They talk about what customers are looking for in a mobility vehicle conversion or wheelchair lift.  Most of the talk can best be described as working to find better ways to make the world accessible.  Everyone at the 2011 NMEDA Conference will be working to make the lives of those with a disability a little bit easier.

One of the most interesting things about the NMEDA conference each year is the exhibition hall.  New mobility products are displayed, often for the first time, for the people who sell them.  It is a great place for mobility dealers and their sales staff to learn about the newest wheelchair accessible vans, mobility lifts, disability driving devices, and much more.
